AA Travel Insurance paid out R14,500 in respect of this claim

Mrs. Mbatha* fractured her wrist before she was due to depart on her long awaited holiday to Cuba. The fracture was severe and required surgery and so she was advised by her orthopaedic surgeon that she should not travel due to the risk of further injury.

Mrs. Mbatha submitted her claim to AA Travel Insurance for the non-refundable amounts that she had paid to her travel suppliers and AA Travel Insurance paid her the maximum liability on the cover, which is R14,500.

So while it was extremely disappointing that she could not go on her dream holiday at that time, her financial loss was eased by the cover offered on her AA Travel Insurance policy.
